Maddie had climbed up onto the foot of the bed and fallen asleep once
Jennifer left for work this morning. Once I'd managed to get myself
ready to face the day, I found that she'd managed to tuck herself in,
avoiding the cold morning, so I sat down next to her, brushed back her
ears, and said, "Hey, Sleepyhead, do you want to go take a walk?"
